Chief Financial Officer – Non-Profit - $150,000 - $170,000 - Boston, MA (hybrid)
Roessel Joy has partnered with an arts and history focused non-profit, located in Boston, MA who is seeking to bring on a Chief Financial Officerto join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, bank relationships, and assisting in the built out of a robust IT department. They will collaborate with the President and the Board of Trustees to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.
Responsibilities
- Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to Board
- Support the financial planning and analysis efforts
- Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
- Oversee multiple departments, including an IT department that will need to be further built out
- Manage relationships with banks
Qualifications
- 10+ years of finance experience
- CPA highly preferred
- 5-7 years of non-profit background
- Strong IT department supervision experience
- Proven track record of working with a Board of Trustees closely
