- Drive strategic financial planning and value-creation initiatives aligned to PE ownership goals.
- Support commercial decision-making through analysis of profitability, working capital and operational metrics.
- Prepare the business for exit: lead vendor due diligence, data room preparation, transaction planning and execution.
- Build and develop a high-performing finance team to support scaling operations.
- Ideal candidate profile
Key requitements
- Prior CFO experience in a private equity-backed business generating £10m+ EBITDA.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Demonstrated success in delivering at least one successful PE exit (trade sale, secondary buyout or IPO).
- Deep experience operating in LBO environments, including covenant compliance, debt and lender management.
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting and commercial finance capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills at Board and investor level, with the ability to influence strategy and execution.
- Hands-on, commercially minded, and capable of leading under pressure in a fast-moving PE context.
