As the
Financial Controller, you will be responsible for hiring, managing, training, and motivating the SERVPRO® accounting. You will oversee all accounting functions and administrative activities, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in hiring finance/accounting personnel and ensure employment best practices and compliance
- Manage the training and development plans for finance team
- Oversee performance management for office team
- Deliver financial reporting as needed
- Verify and analyze franchise performance reports
- Assist with office staffing and compensation plan as needed
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
- At least 3 year of management and/or supervisory experience
- At least 5 year of accounting and/or office-related experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organization and planning capabilities, strong attention to detail
Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies
This is a role in a fast-paced office environment. Some filing is required which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bending or standing as necessary. Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
