Position: Salesforce CPQ Solutions Architect
Location: Hybrid – Indianapolis, IN (Locals preferred)
Type: 6+ months Contract to Hire
Summary Of Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, focusing on CPQ, Sales, Service, and B2B2C Commerce clouds.
- Own overall Salesforce org architecture and make strategic design decisions for new features.
- Guide and facilitate discussions with stakeholders and subject matter experts to align business requirements with Salesforce capabilities.
- Propose and architect optimal solutions using available Salesforce platform tools to meet business objectives.
- Act as a functional architect with a strong understanding of technical capabilities, without being hands-on in development.
- Collaborate with and delegate tasks to global teams (onshore/offshore), providing guidance and troubleshooting support.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce best practices and emerging technologies.
- Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work independently with business stakeholders.
- Employ strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Apply awareness of application lifecycle management, DevOps, and quality assurance tools.
- Optionally leverage experience with Conga Composer/Trigger and Agile project management tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA).
Summary Of Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technology-related field.
- 12+ years of Salesforce consulting experience, with at least 4 years in an Architect role.
- Deep expertise in multiple Salesforce clouds, especially CPQ.
- Strong understanding of business needs and industry-specific use cases.
- Salesforce certifications highly desirable; architect certification is a plus.
- Experience with Conga Composer and Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Passion for technology and continuous learning.
