Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides strategic financial leadership for the organization, ensuring fiscal health, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth. This role oversees all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and compliance, while partnering with the leadership team to guide long-term strategy and profitability across the company’s global travel products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Lead all financial operations, including accounting, payroll, ARC, Foreign currency, and cash management.
- Develop, implement, and oversee financial policies, internal controls, and cost-containment strategies to ensure financial integrity and efficiency.
- Partner with the President and leadership team to provide financial insights on organizational performance, profitability, and growth.
- Analyze and report on product performance and profitability, providing data-driven recommendations to optimize the travel product lineup and overall business strategy.
- Evaluate the financial impact and compliance of contracts, partnerships, and new initiatives to ensure sustainable and responsible growth.
Financial Planning and Analysis
- Lead annual budgeting and long-range financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with company goals and market conditions
- Provide timely, accurate financial reporting to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Deliver disciplined sales forecasting and scenario planning to enhance decision-making.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting cycles.
- Develop standard and ad hoc reports for management and external partners.
Operational & Administrative Management and Leadership
- Supervise accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Manage cash flow tracking and reporting on a weekly basis, ensuring liquidity and investment oversight.
- Administer corporate credit card accounts, commissions reporting, and vendor/partner contracts.
- Serve as system administrator for Business Central ERP and oversee data integrations with the Travel Studio ERP.
- Manage insurance policies, state compliance registrations, debt service, and lease obligations.
Compliance, Audit and Risk Management
- Oversee accounts payable, vendor management, 1099 administration, and corporate dues/fees.
- Manage banking relationships, daily administration, and monthly reconciliations.
- Act as backup for ARC account administration and AP/AR functions.
- Ensure compliance with state-level regulatory filings and fees.
- Support year-end financial statement preparation for external accountants.
- Oversee building maintenance, facilities, and office supply needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
- Expertise in accounting systems and ERP administration (Business Central experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in HR management.
- Experience managing multi-currency operations and international financial structures.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage technology and data for financial strategy and growth.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.

Projected Total Compensation: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
