Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

We are seeking an experienced CFO to lead financial strategy, planning and operations for a privately held company. This role partners closely with the executive team and ownership to guide accounting, budgeting, risk management, audits, and compliance, while providing insight to drive long-term growth and profitability. The CFO oversees all financial operations and collaborates with leadership across departments to support strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic financial leadership across all company operations
- Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and audit activities
- Track and analyze cash flow, financial performance, and key business metrics
- Develop annual operating budgets and long-term financial plans in partnership with senior management
- Prepare and present financial reports, analyses, and updates to leadership and the Board
- Manage corporate banking relationships, credit facilities, and debt compliance
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards while optimizing financial controls
- Collaborate with operations and IT to align financial systems and business goals
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team to ensure high performance and accuracy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- CPA or CPA track/inactive preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in senior financial or accounting leadership roles
- Proven success in strategic financial planning, audit oversight, and risk management
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with manufacturing and direct-to-consumer ERP systems
