CFO -Global Reinsurance Group
Location: London (with monthly international travel across Europe & South America)

Alexander Lloyd Executive Search are delighted to partner with a global reinsurance organisation undergoing an exciting growth phase. This is a board-level opportunity for a seasoned, technically strong insurance CFO to shape the global finance function and drive strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and transform the global finance function, ensuring alignment with strategy and full compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and Solvency II.
- Deliver IFRS 17 (Insurance Contracts) and IFRS 9 (Investments) implementation with integrity.
- Oversee group reporting, audit, treasury, investments, and solvency/capital management.
- Engage directly with rating agencies and external financial partners.
- Partner with the CEO and Board to drive global growth initiatives.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing international finance team.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 10+ years in reinsurance or speciality insurance.
- Currently operating within a Global CFO role
- Strong technical expertise in IFRS 17, Solvency II, and multi-entity reporting.
- Experience in offshore and multi-jurisdiction operations.
- Globally mobile with the ability to travel internationally up to 2 weeks per month.
- Strategic, commercially minded leader with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
