We're looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy, planning, reporting, and operations of the clinic. In partnership with the Executive Director / CEO and clinical leadership, the CFO ensures financial health, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and supports strategic growth. This role is both strategic and hands-on in a clinic environment, balancing long-term financial planning with day-to-day oversight of accounting, budgeting, reimbursement, and risk management.

Education/Certifications/Licenses:
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field (required)
● Master’s degree (e.g. MBA, MHA) or CPA / CMA / CGMA preferred
● Certification in healthcare finance (e.g. HFMA, CHFP) strongly preferred
● Continuing education relevant to healthcare reimbursement, compliance, and financial management
Experience:
Required:
● Minimum 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
● Experience in a healthcare, nonprofit, hospital, or clinic environment with familiarity with reimbursement, payer contracts, regulatory compliance
● Demonstrated success leading financial strategy, budgeting, and financial reporting in a complex organization
● Experience managing teams, audits, and cross-functional collaboration
Preferred / Additional:
● Experience scaling organizations or managing growth/change (mergers, acquisitions, service expansion)
● Experience with grant funding, philanthropy, and public/private funding sources
● Hands-on experience in revenue cycle and payer negotiations
● Strong background in systems implementation (ERP, financial / billing systems)
