Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Oracle CPQ professional to serve as a technical lead for complex CPQ initiatives. This individual will play a key role in shaping and delivering Oracle CPQ solutions that support business goals, enhance sales operations, and improve overall quoting efficiency. The position requires close collaboration with business and technical teams to design, build, and support scalable CPQ implementations.
Primary Responsibilities
l Lead the overall architecture and design of Oracle CPQ solutions, ensuring performance, scalability, and alignment with business objectives
l Serve as the primary Oracle CPQ subject matter expert, providing technical direction and guidance to development teams
l Configure and customize Oracle CPQ components, including pricing logic, workflows, product catalogs, and quote templates
l Design and manage integrations between Oracle CPQ and enterprise platforms such as CRM, ERP, and related systems
l Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions
l Oversee testing activities, including unit, system, and user acceptance testing, to ensure solution quality and stability
l Develop and maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer and end-user training efforts
l Continuously assess CPQ functionality and recommend enhancements to improve usability, performance, and scalability
Required Skills And Experience
l 8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ, including architecture, implementation, and enterprise integrations
l Strong scripting experience using BML, JavaScript, and/or Groovy
l Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with tools such as JIRA and Confluence
l Demonstrated success delivering large-scale Oracle CPQ implementations across multiple regions
l In-depth understanding of CPQ features, including complex pricing and configuration rules
l Proven experience integrating Oracle CPQ with CRM and ERP platforms, preferably Oracle ERP Cloud
l Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
l Ability to work independently while managing competing deadlines
l Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts clearly
l Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities with sound judgment
l Comfortable working in collaborative, global team environments, including offshore teams
Preferred Qualifications
l Experience with Oracle EBS R12 Configurator
l Knowledge of CDL rules
l Experience integrating EBS with Oracle CPQ for BOM and rules management
Education
l Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
