Job Summary
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth across all business verticals by aligning sales, marketing, customer success, and business development strategies. The CRO will lead organizational efforts to optimize revenue performance, expand market presence, enhance customer lifecycle value, and build a unified commercial vision.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue growth strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Establish annual and quarterly revenue goals, KPIs, and forecasting models.
- Identify and capture new business opportunities across domestic and international markets.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment between Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams.
Sales & Business Development
- Lead and scale sales organization to achieve growth targets.
- Build strategic partnerships, alliances, and channel networks.
- Strengthen enterprise sales pipeline and conversion strategies.
- Drive adoption of CRM systems, sales enablement tools, and performance dashboards.
Marketing & Branding
- Collaborate with marketing leadership to strengthen brand positioning and lead-generation strategies.
- Ensure data-driven marketing initiatives aligned with customer acquisition and retention objectives.
Customer Success & Retention
- Oversee customer lifecycle management to maximize retention, upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and NPS.
- Build customer success frameworks to improve satisfaction and long-term engagement.
Performance Management & Culture
- Establish a high-performance culture with clear accountability & performance metrics.
- Mentor and develop commercial teams for scale, capability, and succession.
- Maintain strong governance, compliance, pricing frameworks, and reporting discipline.
- Establish annual and quarterly revenue goals, KPIs, and forecasting models.
- Identify and capture new business opportunities across domestic and international markets.

Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred (MBA desirable).
- 12+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience, including managing large sales teams.
- Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth in [industry—insert as relevant].
