Job Overview:
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is a core member of the company's senior management team, responsible for the overall strategic planning and execution related to company revenue, reporting directly to the CEO. The CRO integrates sales, marketing, customer success, business development, and partner management into a unified management structure, ensuring the company achieves sustained, high-quality revenue growth in existing markets and new business areas. The CRO needs to possess deep business acumen, data-driven decision-making capabilities, and cross-departmental leadership skills to drive the optimization of the company's overall business model and enhance its market competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Business Growth
Develop and execute comprehensive revenue growth strategies, including annual, quarterly, and long-term plans.
Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and product portfolio optimization solutions to drive revenue diversification.
Provide board support for decision-making by forecasting business trends through data analytics and market insights.
Sales & Marketing Leadership
Lead the global sales team, including direct sales, channel sales, and strategic account management, to ensure revenue targets are met.
Manage the marketing team to develop brand strategies, marketing plans, and demand generation activities to increase market penetration.
Optimize the sales funnel and customer conversion process to improve sales efficiency and revenue contribution.
Customer Success and Experience Management
Establish a customer success system to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and customer lifetime value (CLV/LTV).
Develop customer retention strategies through customer data analytics to reduce churn and increase renewal and uppurchase opportunities.
Drive a closed-loop customer feedback mechanism to ensure continuous product and service optimization.
Cross-departmental Collaboration and Team Management
Coordinate sales, marketing, product, operations, and finance teams to align revenue targets with business strategy.
Establish an effective performance evaluation system (KPI/OKR) to incentivize the team to continuously improve performance.
Develop the capabilities of the senior management team and ensure a stable talent pipeline for key positions.
Business Model Innovation and Partnerships
Design innovative business models and pricing strategies to enhance market competitiveness and profit margins.
Develop and manage strategic partnerships and channel networks to expand new revenue streams.
Drive enterprise-level clients and cross-industry collaborative projects to achieve long-term strategic benefits.
Data-Driven Decision-Making and Financial Management
Control revenue forecasting, budget execution, and profit analysis to ensure optimal allocation of company resources.
Utilize BI systems and data analytics tools to monitor revenue and optimize sales and marketing decisions.
Report regularly to the CEO and Board of Directors on revenue performance and the implementation of growth strategies.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA or a degree from a top overseas university is preferred.
Over 15 years of senior management experience, including at least 5-7 years of successful experience in revenue, sales, or growth-driven roles.
Familiar with business models and market environments in SaaS, technology, finance, or fast-growing industries, with a proven track record of significant performance growth.
Exceptional strategic thinking, data analysis skills, and business acumen enable the development of effective growth strategies in complex environments.
