Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Construction
Our client, a rapidly growing construction company, is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team. This is a strategic leadership role, ideal for a hands-on financial executive ready to drive performance and support sustained business growth.
Position Highlights:
- Oversee all aspects of accounting, financial planning, budget management, and reporting
- Implement best-in-class controls, processes, and systems to optimize efficiency and profitability
- Direct cash flow management, forecasting, WIP schedules, and project cost accounting
- Provide insights and guidance to the CEO and senior management for key business decisions
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and insurance partners
- Ensure timely compliance with tax, insurance, and regulatory requirements
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
- 10+ years accounting/finance experience, including prior leadership in construction or related sectors
- Deep knowledge of construction accounting, job cost controls, and financial systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Experience with construction management software preferred (Sage, Viewpoint, Procore, etc.)
