Role Context: Sales Operations & Yield Analyst

We’re looking for a detail-driven and analytical professional to join our Sales team as a Sales Operations & Yield Analyst. In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving revenue growth and optimising yield across Greyhound Australia.
Working closely with our Marketing, Customer Service and Operations teams, you’ll provide accurate reporting, forecasting and data analysis that inform key business decisions and uncover new opportunities for growth.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you’ll be part of a small, high-performing team alongside a Pricing & Yield Manager and a Partnerships Manager, delivering exceptional analysis and insights that shape Greyhound’s commercial strategy.

Primary Purpose and Scope

Weekly and monthly analytical reporting on sales, products, promotions, and performance (by channel, product, competitor activity, budget vs sales).

Regular ticket pricing review & optimization to ensure yield maximization.

Monthly & ad-hoc review of competitors, including price & route checks.

Create, implement, and manage special rates, promotions, and discounts.

Review service performance regularly and make recommendations for changes if necessary.

Provide product and system support across departments.

Management of allotments/pre-booked group travel.

Maintain and implement product updates for Third-Party Suppliers, Pass, Package, and Special Products.
- Develop process documentation, policies and system processes for all department systems and activities.

Support the team in developing yield strategy and pricing.

Analyst of forward sales position, load performance & projected performance & profitability outcomes

Regular presentation, communication and staff briefings on ticket and yield management

About You:
Qualifications
Ideally, degree qualified in Business, Science and further study in Data Science, Analytics or a similar field.
