Job Description
We're seeking a Principal Revenue Cloud/ CPQ Architect to lead the architectural design and strategy for transitioning a top-tier technology company's quotes configuration from Salesforce CPQ to Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA). This role will serve as the principal technical authority, ensuring the solution maximizes RCA's configurable features, reuses existing integration APIs and external systems, and incorporates generative AI (e.g., via Agentforce) for development acceleration. Based in India, you'll collaborate with global teams to deliver a scalable, maintainable architecture aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead architect and subject matter expert for the Salesforce RCA solution, overseeing end-to-end design from CPQ migration to RCA implementation.
- Conduct architectural planning, including data models, workflows, integrations, UI customizations, and AI-driven enhancements.
- Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical designs, evaluating RCA features like Custom code in Apex and LWC, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, UI Builder, and Agentforce.
- Lead solution design workshops, presentations, and reviews for technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior executives.
- Guide and mentor cross-functional teams (e.g., developers, analysts, AI specialists) on Salesforce best practices, platform capabilities, and innovative solutions.
- Ensure solution quality, performance, security, and adherence to Salesforce governance, while identifying risks and recommending mitigations.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager to align architecture with project timelines, budget, and scope.
- Oversee the reuse of existing APIs and integrations, optimizing for efficiency in the quotes management process.
- Drive strategic decisions on AI integration to accelerate development, such as using generative AI for code generation or process automation.
- Provide technical liaison between the project team, client's IT, and business units, facilitating knowledge transfer.
