About The Role
As Head of Sales Operations, you’ll lead the strategy and execution that drives sales effectiveness, operational discipline, and performance across all customer segments. Reporting to the Commercial Operations General Manager, you’ll design and implement processes, programs, and governance frameworks that enable the sales organisation to deliver revenue targets efficiently and predictably.
This role acts as the central link between Finance, Segment GTM, and Sales teams, ensuring alignment on targets, incentives, and execution rhythm.
Key Responsibilities
As the Head of Sales Operations you will work within a dynamic business, so adaptability and resilience are essential.
Your role responsibilities will include:
- Sales Governance & Rhythm of Business: Establish and manage consistent sales operating cadences that drive accountability and insight.
- Planning & Performance Management: oversea forecasting, capacity, productivity analysis to guide sales planning and resource allocation
- Commission & Target Setting: lead annual and in year design of sales
- Commission schemes and target allocation in partnership with Finance and HR
- Enablement & Sales Methodology: Drive adoption of consistent sales methodologies, GTM play execution and capability uplift across direct and indirect sales teams
- Bid & Deal Governance: Oversea the bid management team to ensure disciplined, compliant and commercial sound deal execution
- Sales Program Execution: Lead delivery of major sales transformation and productivity programs aligned to strategic growth priorities
- Data -Driven Insights: Partner with Churn & Analytics team to measure sales performance, identify gaps and inform decision making
- Cross Functional Alignment : Services as the key interface with Finance, HR. Marketing and the Segment GTM to ensure alignment of sales processes, targets and performance metrics
- Leadership & Team Development: Build, lead and develop high performing sales operations team that drive efficiency, accountability and continuous improvement
What You’ll Bring
The following knowledge, experience, capabilities, qualifications, and attributes are required to be successful in the role.
Experience:
- 10+ years in Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence or Business Performance roles within Telco & ICT
- Proven success leading multi - disciplinary sales operations teams (planning, enablement, incentives, bid, programs)
- Track record of improving forecast accuracy, sales productivity and revenue governance
- Experience collaborating with Finance, HR and Strategy teams to align targets and performance outcomes
- Strong experience leading through transformation
