Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will oversee all financial aspects of the organization, including accounting, financial planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to promote growth and stability.
- Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including financial reporting, compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and ASC 606 standards.
- Lead budgeting processes, forecast modeling, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business development initiatives.
- Manage treasury functions such as cash flow management, liquidity planning, and risk analysis to safeguard assets and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting requirements and maintain compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations), and other relevant frameworks.
- Supervise risk management activities by identifying potential financial risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Oversee revenue cycle management, profit & loss analysis, expense control, cost management, and supply chain finance to maximize profitability.
- Lead Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activities by evaluating potential opportunities, conducting due diligence, and integrating new entities smoothly into existing operations.
- Manage all aspects of governmental accounting where applicable and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Oversee financial software systems for accurate data collection, reporting, and analysis; ensure technical accounting standards are maintained across all departments.
- Provide leadership in strategic planning initiatives by interpreting complex financial data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in financial processes through staff supervision, training, and development in areas such as payroll management, cost control, business analysis, and technical accounting.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive with extensive supervisory experience in diverse accounting environments including corporate, non-profit, or governmental sectors.
- Deep understanding of financial concepts such as profit & loss management, budgeting, forecasting, risk analysis, tax accounting, cost control, and revenue management.
- Strong expertise in regulatory frameworks including GAAP, IFRS, IAS standards; familiarity with ASC 606 for revenue recognition; knowledge of SOX compliance; experience with COSO internal controls framework.
- Demonstrated ability in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), business development strategies, and strategic planning processes.
- Proficiency in financial modeling software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems; excellent analysis skills with a focus on market analysis and supply chain finance.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization; proven success supervising teams involved in financial report writing and interpretation.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with strong business acumen to support organizational growth initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; advanced degree such as an MBA or CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills combined with meticulous attention to detail; ability to interpret complex data into clear reports for senior leadership.
