About Swyvvl
Swyvvl is a fast-moving Proptech startup redefining how homebuyers search, connect, and close in today’s real estate market. We’ve built and tested a disruptive platform focused on transparency, agent empowerment, and putting money back in the hands of the consumer. In other words, we are eliminating middlemen like Redfin, Realtor, Zillow, and Homes.com along with their exorbitant marketing and client referral fees. After a successful proof of concept, we’ve released our final beta version and are now preparing to scale nationally. Swyvvl is in its seed round and moving from development to growth; we're seeking a strategic CFO with strong capital expertise to guide this transition.
The Opportunity
As Swyvvl’s CFO, you’ll sit at the intersection of finance and fundraising, guiding our financial strategy while spearheading the initial stage of capital acquisition. You’ll work directly with our CEO and leadership team to hit critical milestones, scale operations, and set the foundation for long-term success. This is not just a finance job — it includes the influence of a builder’s seat at the executive table, along with a significant equity stake .
What You’ll Do
· Own and execute Swyvvl’s financial strategy, planning, and capital structure
· Lead our fundraising efforts, with a near-term focus on raising our seed round post-beta
· Leverage your existing network of angel investors, VCs, and strategic partners
· Build investor materials, financial models, and due diligence packets
· Implement scalable financial systems, KPIs, and growth forecasts
· Partner cross-functionally to align capital plans with marketing, product, and ops goals
· Represent Swyvvl in investor calls, board updates, and capital negotiations
Who You Are
· You have extensive experience leading or advising early-stage startups
· You’ve helped raise funding through both angel investors and venture capital
· You’re deeply familiar with the challenges of high-growth environments
· You understand cap tables, SAFE notes, burn rates, and what it takes to scale
· You can shift from high-level strategy to successful hands-on execution
· You’re energized by ambiguity, opportunity, and being part of something from the ground up

· Strong proof of concept and early traction from both users and real estate professionals
· Successfully bootstrapped with no debt
· Initial seed round raise
· Platform architecture built for nationwide scalability

· Ready to secure next round of funding and accelerate go-to-market growth
Compensation Structure
This is an executive position. Compensation will begin as equity-only during the initial phase. As funding benchmarks are reached, the role transitions to include additional equity and traditional salary compensation. We’re looking for a long-term partner, not a short-term hire — someone who wants to build something big and bold from day one.
