Chief Financial Officer (CFO) $50–$60 per hour-
Pro Action of Steuben and Yates, Inc. is seeking an experienced CFO to lead financial strategy and operations for a complex nonprofit organization. This role oversees all financial matters, including compliance with government contracts and private grants, and ensures alignment between financial objectives and organizational goals.
Responsibilities:

Manage cash flow, financial planning, and strategic analysis

Oversee compliance with government contracts and private grants

Develop financial strategies and growth plans

Forecast capital needs and monitor financial performance

Identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement

Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses

Manage investments and maintain relationships with funding sources

Supervise finance staff and ensure operational efficiency
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting and have at least 5 years of experience in nonprofit accounting. Experience in a senior financial management role is essential, along with strong knowledge of compliance and reporting requirements. Candidates should have a proven track record managing finances for a complex nonprofit with multiple funding sources, including government grants and contracts. The ideal candidate must have a valid driver’s license, meeting agency standards per position and consistent, reliable transportation that will allow regular travel in and around the service area.
