An experienced Interim CFO is now required to lead activities during a critical period of transformation and change. The role requires a seasoned finance leader with proven credibility and gravitas, capable of operating both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, private equity backed environment.
The successful candidate will drive financial professionalisation, harmonise processes, and embed a culture of commercial excellence across the organisation.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Lead the redesign and optimisation of finance processes, systems, and controls to create an efficient and professional finance function.
- Operate at board level to shape long-term strategy while ensuring day-to-day financial rigour and delivery.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team, providing insight and challenge to drive commercial decision-making and profitability.
- Standardise and streamline financial processes across business units to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Drive initiatives that enhance revenue growth, margin improvement, and overall business performance.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation and externally, influencing and challenging where necessary to achieve results.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting, forecasting, and cash management to support business objectives.
Key Skills;
- Proven experience as CFO or senior finance leader in a private equity-backed business.
- Strong track record in finance transformation and professionalising finance functions.
- Exceptional commercial acumen and ability to partner with operational teams to drive performance.
- Demonstrated credibility and gravitas to influence at board level and across senior stakeholders.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in harmonising processes and embedding best practice across multi-site or complex organisations.
- Delivery-focused mindset with resilience and adaptability in high-pressure situations.
