Position OverviewThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee all financial operations of Fierce Firearms, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, banking relationships, and long-term strategic financial management. This role requires a proven financial executive with experience in manufacturing, strong operational understanding, and the ability to support an expanding, multi-department production company.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the company.
- Oversee accounting, AP/AR, payroll, and cost accounting functions.
- Develop and maintain accurate budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Implement and optimize financial processes, internal controls, and ERP utilization.
- Manage cash flow, capital expenditure planning, and inventory financials.
- Partner with CEO and leadership team to drive strategic decisions, growth plans, and profitability goals.
- Provide financial insights on manufacturing operations, production costs, margins, and efficiencies.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, lenders, and financial partners.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and industry-specific financial requirements.
- Lead and mentor internal finance team members.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 7–10+ years of senior financial leadership, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and production-based financial systems.
- Experience with ERP financial modules and manufacturing workflows.
- Proven ability to analyze operations, improve margins, and support growth.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Experience- Work in firearms, sporting goods, or precision manufacturing industries.
- Familiarity with supply chain finance, capital equipment planning, and multi-department manufacturing environments.
- Experience in a medium-sized company ($20M–$50M+ revenue).
