You'll be working directly with the Managing Director of Middlemore, an exceptional executive search firm focused on Human Resources and Central Functions Practice. You’ll be the glue that holds the team together, giving them back time so they can continue to elevate Middlemore to new heights.
Every day will bring variety. This role is split into three main facets;
· Executive & Diary Management: Provide daily administrative support, including proactive diary and travel management for the Director alongside all invoicing administration completed.
Coordinate interviews for the wider team as needed during busy periods.
· Community & Events Coordination: Draft engaging emails, maintain and collate contact lists, and manage all logistical aspects of company events and external initiatives. Work closely with vendors and partners to ensure seamless event execution.
· Marketing Support: Contribute to the creation of marketing materials including candidate packs, editing template designs, and presentation decks. This is a hands-on development role with exposure to digital marketing, social media, and creative projects - ideal for those looking for further career development.
You’ll also get the chance to develop your project management skills by leading improvement projects from idea to delivery. You’ll be able to interpret notes into an eloquent written format for clients, and hold the ability to communicate effectively with C-Suite professionals.
This is a hybrid position based in Birmingham, with three days per week remote working and two in the office to align with the team, in addition to unlimited annual leave. What you’ll need
· At least 2 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or working within Business Support Administration
· The ability to manage upwards, a proactive nature, and credibility to be client facing
· Ideally, some exposure to professional services or the recruitment sector
· Strong organisational and communication skills, alongside a high level of attention to detail, as you’ll be interfacing with both clients and candidates
