Sales Support
- Assists sales as needed with helping prepare purchase orders for order entry. o Assist sales team with fielding customer calls and emails on status updates, contract questions, and quotations. o Assist core sales team as needed with reports, projects, and new customer setups.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with external sales agents to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Customer Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, product inquiries, technical questions and delivery schedules.
- Address customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally
- Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of customer concerns. Work closely with experienced professionals across sales, production, quality assurance, engineering, and shipping departments to provide accurate information to customers.
Documentation And Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and order details. o Prepare weekly reports on open order status, past dues, and customer feedback as required.
- Send updated monthly lead times to all customers
- Send customers master ship lists and tracking information the day following shipment(s). Send proof of deliveries when requested.
Product Knowledge
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Central Moloney's transformers components products and services
- Provide technical and product information to customers as needed. Insert Date 09/04/2025
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the sales and customer service functions.
- Collaborate with team members and management to implement best practices and enhance overall efficiency and timeliness of customer requests
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in business, sales, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in customer relationship management or sales support.
- Familiarity with sales processes and reporting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to compose formal responses to customers; organizational skills, and conflict-resolution problem solving ability.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel preferred.
- Experience with order tracking systems and ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of transformer components products and the electrical industry is advantageous
