Travel for Dealmaker: $1,200 roundtrip flights

Salary Range: $213,144.12 – $304,492.03 annually
Relocation Assistance: $25,000

Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as the senior financial leader and strategic business partner, guiding long-term financial sustainability and operational success. This executive role oversees financial planning, budgeting, revenue cycle, accounting, payroll, and compliance to ensure the organization meets its mission, vision, values, and overall strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visionary financial leadership to drive operational performance and organizational stability.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, revenue cycle, accounting, and payroll operations.
- Evaluate and report on the financial condition of the organization through regular financial and operational statements.
- Develop, implement, and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and all regulatory standards.
- Maintain responsibility for state and federal reporting requirements.
- Ensure alignment with system-wide financial policies and corporate compliance standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, financial partners, medical staff, employees, volunteers, board members, and community representatives.
- Support long-term strategic planning and financial modeling to strengthen organizational growth and sustainability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- CPA, CMA, or FHFMA certification highly preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare finance or similar industry.
- Prior experience in a Critical Access Hospital or comparable healthcare environment preferred.
- Strong command of financial regulations, healthcare reimbursement, and reporting standards.
- Proven success in developing and implementing financial strategies in complex organizations.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
