Job Title: SAP CPQ Architect
Location: Remote (USA)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP CPQ Architect to support a long-term, fully remote engagement. This role focuses on providing architectural oversight for a Greenfield SAP CPQ implementation currently in the build phase. The ideal candidate brings 10–12 years of deep SAP CPQ expertise, with a strong background in solution architecture, code review, technical governance, and guiding development teams toward best-in-class implementation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the overall SAP CPQ solution architecture, ensuring alignment with business requirements and enterprise standards.
• Review, validate, and govern SAP CPQ code and configurations to ensure best practices are consistently followed.
• Provide architectural guidance to developers, functional consultants, and cross-functional teams.
• Drive system design discussions, solution blueprinting, and technical decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability across all customizations and scripts.
• Collaborate with business analysts, enterprise architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure architectural compliance across all deliverables.
• Troubleshoot complex SAP CPQ issues and provide direction for advanced problem-solving.
• Stay current with SAP CPQ enhancements, emerging features, and industry standards to ensure a future-ready architecture.
Job Requirements:
• 10–12 years of hands-on SAP CPQ experience, including solution architecture, design, and complex implementations.
• Deep knowledge of SAP CPQ configuration, rules, workflows, pricing models, and data structures.
• Expertise in scripting and customization using IronPython, JavaScript, REST APIs, and advanced integration patterns.
• Strong experience designing SAP CPQ solutions for Greenfield projects.
• Ability to conduct detailed code reviews and optimize scripts for performance and maintainability.
• Proven experience integrating SAP CPQ with SAP ERP, CRM, S/4HANA, and third-party applications.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, globally distributed environment.
