Accelerate Dental is a fast-growing Dental Partnership group based in Utah with over 40 offices across Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming. We are committed to helping dentists achieve success by investing in and partnering with dental offices to drive growth and profitability with administrative support, best practice training, and office expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all financial operations including accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for a multi-site organization
- Develop and execute financial strategy to support aggressive growth plans and practice acquisitions
- Oversee cash flow management, banking relationships, and capital structure optimization
- Build and scale accounting and finance functions, systems, and processes to support rapid expansion
- Contribute as executive team member on strategic initiatives, including practice acquisitions, market expansion, and operational improvements
- Provide financial leadership on new practice onboarding, integration, and performance optimization
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators across all locations to drive profitability and growth
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and all regulatory requirements
- Manage relationships with external partners including auditors, banks, and investors
- Advise practices on growth and strategy as practice board member
- Work closely with partner dentists on financial and tax needs
Ideal candidates will have:
- 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing team of 5-10+ people
- Proven track record in a high-growth, multi-site business environment
- Dynamic builder mentality with hands-on approach to creating and scaling financial infrastructure
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred
- Deep expertise in financial modeling, FP&A, and strategic planning
- Experience with practice acquisitions, integrations, and roll-up strategies a plus
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in an ambitious startup environment
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
- Expert proficiency with ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate financial insights for non-financial stakeholders
- High integrity and discretion with confidential information
- No industry experience required, though multi-site investment experience is desirable
Location & Compensation:
This position is based in Utah, with local candidates preferred. Our offices span Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming, and the role will require some travel within this geography (monthly day trips)
