Salary: $213,144 – $304,492
Relocation: Minimum of $25,000

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to guide its financial strategy, strengthen organizational performance, and ensure long-term fiscal stability. This executive leader will oversee all core financial functions, shape financial policy, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and the board.
Directing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and revenue cycle oversight.
Evaluating the organization’s financial position and providing timely, accurate operational and financial updates.
Developing financial policies, internal controls, and procedures that protect assets and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
Overseeing accounting, payroll, and reimbursement functions to support cost-effective and transparent operations.
Ensuring full compliance with federal and state reporting requirements.
Partnering closely with internal leaders, clinical teams, financial institutions, and community stakeholders to support strategic and operational goals.
Contributing to system-wide financial initiatives and long-range planning.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred).
CPA, CMA, FHFMA, or similar financial credential strongly preferred.
At least seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience in financial management; healthcare finance experience is highly desirable.
Background in a Critical Access Hospital or comparable healthcare environment is a plus.
Deep knowledge of financial regulations, reporting requirements, healthcare reimbursement, and fiscal compliance.
Proven track record of building financial strategy, driving organizational performance, and leading high-impact teams.
Exceptional communication, analytical, and strategic leadership skills.
