This role supports the CEO in managing and reporting all fiscal information, services, and operations for a community bank in Central Iowa. It oversees all accounting and financial functions, directs the accounting department, and ensures departmental goals align with the bank’s overall objectives. Responsibilities include chairing the Asset, Liability and Investment Committee; presenting monthly reports to the Board and senior leadership; participating in deposit and loan rate decisions; and managing investment activity with excess funds. The position also assists with major purchasing and contract negotiations, leads fiscal planning and policy development, and oversees regulatory reporting, audits, tax calculations and filings.
