Role Overview
The Head of Sales Operations is responsible for building and leading the sales operations function to support scalable, efficient, and data-driven revenue growth at MetaComp.
This role partners closely with Sales, Product, Finance, Compliance, and Technology teams to optimise sales processes, CRM systems, forecasting, pricing governance, and performance analytics in a regulated FinTech environment.
The role requires a strong operator who combines commercial acumen, analytical rigour, and execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations Strategy & Execution
- Build and own the sales operations strategy to support MetaComp’s growth objectives.
- Design and optimise end-to-end sales processes, from lead management through deal closure and onboarding.
- Establish scalable operating rhythms, metrics, and governance for the sales organisation.
CRM, Data & Analytics
- Own CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce or equivalent), including data quality, reporting, dashboards, and user adoption.
- Develop and maintain sales performance metrics, pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, and conversion analytics.
- Provide actionable insights to Sales leadership and senior management.
Forecasting, Planning & Performance Management
- Partner with Sales leadership and Finance on revenue forecasting, quota planning, and capacity modelling.
- Track sales performance against targets and identify risks and opportunities early.
- Support compensation planning, incentive tracking, and commission reporting (where applicable).
Deal Governance & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Support deal structuring, pricing approvals, and commercial governance in collaboration with Finance, Legal, and Compliance.
- Ensure sales processes align with regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements.
- Act as a key bridge between Sales and internal stakeholders to enable smooth deal execution and client onboarding.
Process Improvement & Enablement
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase sales efficiency.
- Enable sales teams with tools, playbooks, reporting, and operational support.
- Drive adoption of best practices and continuous improvement across the sales organisation.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Commercial Operations.
- Proven experience supporting enterprise or B2B sales teams in a FinTech, payments, financial services, or technology environment.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting.
- Hands-on experience owning and optimising CRM systems.
- Ability to operate independently and drive execution in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Commercial Operations.
- Experience in payments, digital assets, cross-border payments, or regulated financial services.
- Prior experience in a high-growth or scaling organisation.
- Familiarity with MAS or other regulatory frameworks impacting sales and client onboarding.
- Experience working with complex, multi-entity or regional sales teams.
- Exposure to pricing governance, deal approval frameworks, and sales compensation structures.
- Advanced proficiency in data tools (e.g. SQL, BI tools, advanced Excel).
