Job Summary
Advanced Orthopedics of Oklahoma is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide overall financial leadership, strategic direction, and operational performance management for all aspects of our practice activities and related lines of business. The CFO will be a vital member of our executive team, driving growth and ensuring financial stability within the unique healthcare landscape. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected in this pivotal leadership role.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will manage all financial functions, provide essential data analysis, and spearhead strategic financial planning and contracting efforts. Key responsibilities include:
- Policy & Oversight: Recommends, develops, implements, and updates the organization’s overall financial policies. Oversees all financial functions including accounting, payroll, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury.
- Reporting & Strategy: Designs and coordinates a wide variety of accounting and statistical data and reports. Informs the Executive Committee about current trends, problems, and issues to facilitate policy-making and contracting.
- Leadership & Compliance: Provides leadership in the conception, planning, development, and implementation of the practice’s financial plans. Ensures practice compliance with governmental regulations and industry financial requirements, initiating appropriate changes as needed.
- Negotiation & Development: Leads negotiations with payers for contract renewals. Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional developments to keep current in the latest financial requirements regarding the healthcare field.
- Management & Confidentiality: Leads and directs the work of others while maintaining the strictest confidentiality in all matters.
Education & Work Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of healthcare accounting experience is required.
- Licensure/Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is highly preferred.
Pay is commensurate with experience.
