The University of Greenwich is seeking a highly motivated Head of Business Operations to lead and manage core operational services within the Faculty of Law, Arts and Social Sciences. This pivotal role supports excellence in teaching, research, and enterprise by ensuring our administrative systems are efficient, responsive, and continuously improving.
About the Role
Reporting to the Faculty Operating Officer, you will oversee multiple teams and lead on key activities including:

Faculty-wide academic and student-facing administrative support

Executive support, data and information management
-
Health and safety, space and facilities
-
Cross-campus and partnership operations
-
Strategic planning and change management
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the university, deputising for the FOO when required, and driving forward major projects and service enhancements.
We’re seeking someone with:

Significant leadership experience in complex organisations
-
Proven success in managing change, strategy, and operational delivery
-
Strong financial and planning acumen
-
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
-
A proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving and team development
A degree or equivalent professional qualification is essential. Experience in Higher Education or a similar environment is desirable.
