Your role within the team
The Sales Operations Manager plays a critical role in enabling commercial execution across our Pet Nutrition and Care category (PNC) by owning sales operations end to end. This role ensures forecast accuracy, disciplined planning, data integrity, and smooth order to cash execution across multiple markets in ANZ and Asia. The position acts as the operational bridge between commercial, finance, supply chain, quality, regulatory, and logistics teams across Australia and the US, ensuring that commercial ambition is translated into executable, compliant, and profitable outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and owning the PNC ANZ + Asia sales forecast and planning cycle, aligned with US & ANZ manufacturing and supply timelines.
- Establishing robust sales reporting dashboards covering sales, inventory, orders, and financial performance.
- Managing monthly order cycles from forecast to fulfilment to invoicing.
- Supporting finance with payment tracking, accruals, and commercial reviews.
- Partnering with logistics teams to manage freight costs, landed cost visibility, and margin impact.
- Acting as the first line operational support for customer service issues linked to compliance, customs clearance, or quality.
- Maintaining accurate and consistent master data across systems to support scalable growth.

The role requires strong technical capability across the following areas:
- Proven experience in sales operations, supply chain planning or commercial operations within FMCG, nutrition or regulated consumer goods, including exposure to international supply chains and fast-growing or challenger brands.
- Strong capability in sales forecasting and demand planning, including short-term and long-range projections.
- Experience in sales data collection, consolidation, analysis and reporting to support commercial decision-making.
- Demonstrated capability in monthly order tracking, allocation and fulfilment management.
- Proven experience managing payment tracking, invoicing coordination and financial reconciliation in partnership with Finance.
- Strong capability in logistics and freight cost analysis, optimisation and variance tracking.
- Ability to provide customer service and sales support related to regulatory compliance, import/export clearance and documentation.
- Experience coordinating and reporting quality issues, defects and corrective actions in collaboration with Quality and Regulatory teams.
- Hands-on experience with master data management within NS systems, including SKU setup, pricing, customer data and system accuracy.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools, supported by strong attention to detail, data accuracy and process discipline.
