Fresh Start Education, an Australian-owned Registered Training Organisation (RTO #45237), is seeking an experienced and motivated Industry Engagement & Business Support Officer to support our Building & Construction training operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working within the industry, supporting students and trainers, and contributing to high-quality vocational education outcomes.

About the Role
This is a varied, hands-on role combining industry engagement, employer liaison, and RTO administration. You will work closely with management, trainers, and students to support compliance, service delivery, and industry partnerships.
Key Duties
- Build and maintain strong relationships with construction industry employers
- Act as a key contact for industry partners and stakeholders
- Coordinate industry engagement activities and meetings
- Promote training products and workforce development initiatives
- Provide administrative support across enrolments, scheduling, and student records
- Maintain compliant training documentation and data
- Support ASQA, USI, and AVETMISS requirements
- Assist trainers and assessors with administration and logistics
- Manage phone and email enquiries professionally
Skills & Experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
- Customer-focused, professional approach
Desirable:
- Experience in an RTO or VET environment
- Knowledge of the Building & Construction industry
- Experience with marketing or engagement activities

Pay: $59,095.49 – $80,000.00 per year
