Horizon Federal Credit Union is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to serve as a strategic partner, leading all areas of accounting, finance, and compliance. This new opportunity will position the Credit Union to ensure continued growth and success while effectively setting and monitoring the overall business plan alongside the Chief Executive Officer.
The incoming executive will serve as the ambassador of the Credit Union brand, leading the finance functions, including financial reporting, analysis, cash management, and monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting reports to senior management and the Board of Directors.
This position will be a direct report to the Chief Executive Officer, providing expertise across all areas of responsibility and leading major organizational project initiatives to ensure timely, effective project implementation as the Credit Union continues its momentum of growth.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 10 years of progressive leadership experience within a financial institution is required; a CPA designation is preferred. Exceptional leadership and communication skills are essential to this role, with a thorough comprehension of policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
