The Role
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to partner with
our CEO and leadership team. As we scale from a successful mid-sized specialized firm to a
global digital leader, the CFO will play a critical role in financial strategy, accounting, corporate
governance, global compliance, and operational excellence.
This is not a traditional back-office finance role. You will be a business co-pilot, driving financial
modeling for new SaaS products, managing multi-geography P&Ls (India, US, Europe,
LATAM), and preparing the organization for its next phase of exponential growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Business Partnering
• Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO, providing financial insights that drive business
decisions, pricing strategies for IT services/SaaS products, and growth plans.
• Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including forecasting, budgeting, and
long-term scenario planning.
• Evaluate and advise on the financial impact of long-range planning, introduction of new
programs/strategies, and regulatory actions.
2. Global Financial Operations & Compliance
• Oversee the financial operations of the Indian and international entities (USA, Europe,
LATAM), ensuring compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and transfer pricing
norms.
• Manage cash flow, treasury, and currency risk (Forex management) effectively across
multiple currencies.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual) in
accordance with Indian GAAP/Ind AS and relevant international standards.

3. Growth & Capital Strategy
• As an unfunded, profitable entity, optimize working capital to fuel organic growth.
• Prepare the company for potential future investment rounds, M&A activities, or
strategic partnerships by maintaining rigorous financial discipline and data room
readiness.
• Analyze revenue streams (Services vs. Product/IP) to maximize profitability and
margins.
4. Governance, Risk & Systems
• Strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and risk management frameworks
suited for a highly regulated industry (Life Sciences).
• Oversee the implementation and optimization of IT systems/ERPs to automate
processes and improve data accuracy.
Qualifications
• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a premier institute.
CPA/CMA is a plus.
• Experience: 12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least
3-5 years in a Head of Finance or CFO role.
• Industry Background: Proven experience in the IT Services, SaaS, or Technology
sectors is mandatory.
• Global Exposure: Strong experience managing financial operations for a company
with US/International subsidiaries, including knowledge of transfer pricing, FEMA,
and cross-border taxation.
Key Skills:
o Experience scaling a bootstrapped or Series A-stage company.
o Strong grasp of revenue recognition for both Service (Time & Material/Fixed
Bid) and SaaS (Subscription) models.
o Exceptional communication skills.
