Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Chief Revenue Officer based in the Midwest. The Chief Revenue Officer will take ownership of all revenue generation efforts, working directly with the founder and President, including developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing account relationships, and driving sales growth. Key responsibilities include overseeing lead generation, managing expo presence, arranging and traveling to meetings, closing big sales, streamlining sales operations, and implementing initiatives to enhance customer acquisition and retention. You’ll set strategy, create the sales process and tools, and personally drive early deals across farms, distributors, and agricultural retail. As traction grows, you’ll hire and lead the sales team and establish forecasting and sales operations.
Compensation
Base salary + performance incentives (commission/bonus) + meaningful equity commensurate with experience and impact.
We are looking for a builder, a disruptor, someone who can help us give American farmers an economic edge using our cost-effective tools—while making farms safer worldwide—by replacing legacy heat sources that drive cost and fire risk.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Lead Generation and Sales to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Background in Agricultural sales.
- Strong skills in Account Management to maintain and build long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Experience with Strategic Planning and Sales Operations to optimize efficiency and align team performance with company goals.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; an MBA is preferred, or commensurate experience in hog industry sales.
