Role Summary
The Oracle CPQ Architect leads the design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle CPQ (Cloud) solutions. This onshore role partners with business stakeholders, sales, IT, and offshore teams to deliver scalable CPQ architectures that support complex configuration, pricing, and quoting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end Oracle CPQ solution architecture and design
- Lead requirements workshops with Sales, Finance, Product, and Operations teams
- Translate business needs into CPQ configurations, rules, and workflows
- Design and implement product configuration, pricing/discounting, approvals, and document generation
- Oversee integrations with CRM (Oracle Sales Cloud / Salesforce), ERP, and downstream systems
- Provide technical leadership to offshore teams and ensure CPQ best practices
- Support UAT, deployment, and post–go-live stabilization
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and senior leadership
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in CPQ / Quote-to-Cash solutions
- 5+ years of hands-on Oracle CPQ (Cloud) experience
- Strong expertise in BML (BigMachines Language), advanced pricing models, and configuration rules
- Experience with CPQ integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
- Solid understanding of Sales, Finance, and Revenue processes
- Experience in onshore–offshore delivery models
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle CPQ Certification(s)
- Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP and/or Oracle Sales Cloud
- Background in Manufacturing, SaaS, or Subscription-based businesses
- Exposure to Agile / SAFe methodologies
