The Team
Our Strategy and Business Operations is a focused team that works on our most critical business challenges to drive and support our industry-leading growth. Your efforts will directly affect the overall strategy and success of a world-leading cybersecurity business. You will collaborate on complex business and technology problems that are top of mind for our executives. You possess a unique blend of business insight, business strategy experience, big-picture thinking, and influencing skills and the ability to collaborate with a large number of constituents within Palo Alto Networks.
Job Summary
As the Lead for NetSec Go-To-Market Strategy, you will be a senior leader in our business strategy organization, directly contributing to our overall success. You will work on a case team to solve complex, high-priority problems for our executives, focusing on the Network Security platform, our largest line-of-business. This role is pivotal in driving CEO priorities and making a measurable impact across product and go-to-market strategies as we rapidly scale the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure and deconstruct complex business problems, develop hypotheses, drive rigorous analysis, and deliver actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- Proactively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather critical information, pressure-test hypotheses, and co-create deliverables to accelerate execution and unlock value.
- Develop and present high-quality, executive-level presentations and documents that clearly articulate strategic recommendations and findings.
- Support the annual and quarterly strategic and business planning processes, contributing to the development of strategic capabilities across the organization.
- Drive organizational change by leading strategic projects, managing timelines, and ensuring execution to 'move the needle' on key initiatives.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to associates and other leads on the team, taking a personal interest in their growth and development.
Required Qualifications
Qualifications (Additional Job Description)
- Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience, with at least 3 years in management consulting, private equity, or a corporate strategy/bizops function at a top-tier technology company.
- MBA from a top-tier business school, a 'direct promote' in consulting, or equivalent military experience.
- Expertise in the Enterprise technology industry.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comfortably lead both business and technical discussions with senior audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the cybersecurity industry.
- Demonstrated experience building relationships and leading through influence in a matrixed organization.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and large-scale transformations.
- A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments with minimal supervision.
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
