You will play a critical role in strengthening financial rigour, supporting capital investment decisions, identifying cost and process improvement opportunities, and ensuring the business is financially prepared for growth, capital raising, and future exit or liquidity events.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all financial, management accounting, reporting, tax and treasury functions across the group
- Deliver timely, high-quality management reporting, forecasting, cash flow and board reporting
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and ELT on growth initiatives, capital projects and commercial decisions
- Oversee budgeting, long-term planning and performance management across multi-site operations
- Manage banking relationships, funding arrangements and covenant compliance
- Support private equity reporting requirements, investor communications and capital structuring
- Oversee risk management, internal controls, insurance and governance frameworks
- Lead company secretarial and statutory compliance obligations
- Build, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team
- Support transaction readiness including acquisitions, restructures or exit preparation
Your Profile
You will be a senior finance leader with a strong track record in complex, asset-intensive or operational businesses. You are commercially minded, pragmatic, and comfortable balancing strategic leadership with operational detail.
You will bring:
- CA / CPA (or equivalent) qualification
- Deep experience in financial leadership roles (CFO, Head of Finance, or FC ready to step up)
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, governance and risk management
- Experience working in PE-backed, growth, agriculture, or manufacturing environments highly regarded
- Ability to partner with Boards, investors and executive stakeholders
- A collaborative leadership style with high integrity, sound judgement and emotional intelligence
This is a compelling opportunity to help shape the future of a high-performing, PE-backed business, bringing together financial leadership, commercial insight and purpose in an organisation focused on sustainable growth and enduring value.
