Job Title: Deal Desk Strategist
Roles & Responsibilities
- Review sales request structures for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance.
- Act as a trusted partner to sales, ensuring deals are compliant and efficiently executed.
- Advise sales on pricing structure, deal mechanics, and approval processes.
- Coordinate across multiple teams—sales, pricing, legal, finance, credit, and others—for smooth deal progression.
- Drive end‑to‑end review of requests, ensuring timely follow‑ups and closure.
Tools & Technical Skills
- Primary CRM: Dynamics 365.
- Additional tools preferred: Excel (most important), PowerPoint, OneNote, Salesforce skills beneficial.
Day‑to‑Day Tasks
- Attend to incoming opportunity requests from the sales team.
- Guide sales on structuring deals according to internal processes.
- If deals are non‑standard, engage cross‑functional stakeholders (pricing, legal, finance, credit).
- Ensure clarity in terms & conditions and understand revenue impact of each deal.
- Maintain accuracy while working in a fast‑paced environment with minimal errors.
Manager’s Expectations
- Initiative: Work independently post‑ramp‑up; minimal reminders from the team.
- Ownership: Drive tasks end‑to‑end, be accountable for progress and outcomes.
- Analytical thinking: Ability to identify issues and propose practical solutions.
- Accuracy with urgency: Balance fast‑paced work with high attention to detail—zero room for error.
- Team fit: Experience level is flexible; fit and ability to work with the team matters more than years of experience.
Exp-1 year
