Role Overview
SafeSpace Global Corporation is seeking a hands-on, capital-markets-experienced Chief Financial Officer to serve a dual mandate:
1. Public Company CFO — responsible for SEC-adjacent compliance, audited financials, OTC reporting discipline, investor readiness, and guiding the company through a structured uplist from Pink Sheets to a national exchange (NYSE or NYSE-American).
2. Operating CFO — responsible for day-to-day financial operations, budgeting, cash management, forecasting, vendor oversight, and operational financial discipline for a rapidly scaling AI technology company operating across multiple regulated verticals.
This is a builder role, not a maintenance role. The CFO will help architect the financial backbone of the company as it moves from pre-revenue to material revenue scale.

Key Responsibilities
Public Company & Capital Markets Leadership
• Own all financial reporting, controls, and audit readiness for a fully audited OTC / Pink Sheet public company
• Lead preparation for exchange uplisting (NYSE or NYSE-American), including:
• PCAOB-compliant audits
• Internal controls (SOX-lite → SOX readiness)
• Financial governance frameworks
• Exchange-level financial disclosures and standards
• Serve as primary financial liaison with:
• External auditors
• Securities counsel
• Investment banks
• Transfer agents
• OTC Markets and exchange representatives
• Support investor relations and capital strategy in coordination with the CEO and President
• Ensure strict compliance with SEC, FINRA, and OTC disclosure expectations

Operating & Corporate Finance Leadership
• Build and manage company-wide operating budgets across all business units
• Implement financial planning & analysis (FP&A) discipline, including:
• Monthly forecasting
• Burn-rate management
• Unit economics modeling
• Cost-of-goods and margin analysis
• Oversee treasury functions, cash controls, and capital allocation
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and cost structures
• Support pricing strategy, contract economics, and deal structuring
• Build scalable financial systems to support rapid growth

Vertical & Industry Support (Preferred Experience)
Experience in one or more of the following verticals is highly desirable:
• Education (K-12) – public funding cycles, compliance, long sales cycles
• Healthcare & Senior Living – regulated environments, multi-facility deployments
• Transportation (Bus Systems & Fleets) – municipal contracts, asset-heavy models
• Correctional Facilities – government procurement, security-focused technology

• Build and lead the internal finance, accounting, and administrative teams
• Establish financial policies, procedures, and reporting cadence
• Partner closely with operations, sales, and technology leadership
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership team and board

Required Qualifications
• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
• Prior experience as CFO or senior finance executive for a publicly traded company
• Direct experience with:
• Fully audited Pink Sheet / OTC companies
• Exchange uplist preparation and execution
• Strong operational CFO background in a technology or SaaS-adjacent business
• Deep understanding of public company governance, reporting, and controls
• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-moving environment
• Willingness to live in Nashville, TN and work primarily from the company office

Compensation Structure
Base Salary
• $175,000 – $225,000 annually
Equity / Long-Term Incentives
• 1.5% – 3.5% equity (mix of restricted stock + performance-based vesting)
• Vesting tied to:

• Revenue scale benchmarks
• Market cap growth thresholds
Performance Incentives
• Annual performance bonus potential (cash or equity):
• 20% – 40% of base salary
