The CFO will be a strategic financial leader and trusted advisor to the CEO and Board, responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing working capital, and enabling the company’s aggressive growth trajectory. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in mid-market companies ($120M+ revenues), a CPA background, and strong banking and financial institution connections, with proven results in cash flow optimization, tax planning, and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to set long-term financial strategy aligned with SIP Holdings’ growth goals.
- Lead financial modeling and scenario planning to guide decision-making on expansion, new service lines, and acquisitions.
- Evaluate M&A opportunities (target identification, due diligence, integration planning).
- Provide Board-level financial insights and reports with a forward-looking perspective.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Develop and lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and monthly performance reviews across APAS, DAS, and RAM.
- Deliver actionable insights into profitability, operating performance, and return on invested capital.
- Establish key financial and operational KPIs for executive monitoring.
- Drive continuous improvement in working capital management (inventory turns, receivables, payables).
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Optimize the company’s cash flow cycle by improving billing, collections, and supplier negotiations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, lenders, and leasing institutions to secure favorable terms and future funding.
- Manage capital allocation decisions (debt vs. equity, reinvestment vs. distribution).
- Oversee treasury operations and liquidity planning.
Accounting, Tax & Compliance
- Ensure accurate, timely financial statements under U.S. GAAP.
- Oversee all tax compliance (federal, state, and international), ensuring timely filings and optimal tax planning.
- Liaise with external auditors, CPA firms, and tax advisors to maintain strong governance and mitigate risks.
- Establish, document, and enforce internal controls across the holding and subsidiaries.
- Implement group-wide financial policies and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: CPA required; MBA or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- Experience:
- 15+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5+ years in a senior executive (CFO/VP Finance/Corporate Controller) role.
- Proven leadership in a mid-market company ($120M–$500M revenues), preferably in aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, or asset-intensive industries.
- Demonstrated track record of improving cash flow, reducing costs, and strengthening financial structures.
Technical Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax compliance, and treasury operations.
- Skilled in debt financing, credit facilities, and banking relationship management.
- Familiarity with ERP/financial systems implementation and reporting automation.
- Salary Range $300,000 - $400,000
