The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for leading the company’s financial strategy, ensuring robust financial controls, managing working capital, overseeing statutory compliance, and supporting business growth in the bitumen trading/manufacturing environment. The role requires strong exposure to commodity pricing, forex, taxation, and infrastructure-related financial planning.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives in bitumen trading/manufacturing.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Analyze market trends, crude/bitumen price volatility, and cost structures to support pricing decisions.
- Provide strategic financial insights to the Directors and senior management.
- Oversee accounting, finance, treasury, taxation, and audit functions.
- Manage cash flow, working capital cycles, and liquidity planning.
- Handle banking relationships, fund raising, CC/OD limits, LC/BG issuance, and project financing.
- Oversee forex exposure, hedging strategies, and import-export payments.
- Optimize credit control, receivables, and payables management.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, Income Tax, Customs, Excise, and Companies Act.
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Oversee internal and statutory audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (CMA) / MBA Finance from renowed Business School.
- Minimum 5 Years of experience in similar field.
