Position Summary:
The CFO will report directly to the President. You will be responsible for financial reporting, providing strategic support, job costing, and compliance/risk management while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of the Accounting functions and contribute to a dynamic, growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop long-term financial strategies (prepare monthly financial statements)
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support company growth.
- Manage cash flow, financial risk, and investment strategies to optimize profitability
- Creating, managing, and updating company-wide budgets based on project pipeline
- Maintain integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality in all financial reporting.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve accounting inquiries
- Be a great communicator with President and cross-functional departments.
- Ensure GAAP compliance, manage filings, and maintain internal controls.
- Implement and improve financial policies, internal controls, and reporting systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of experience in accounting with a preference for contractor industry experience and at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Ability to handle sensitive company information with confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
