About the Role
MapLarge is seeking a Director of Revenue Operations & Finance to own the operational backbone of how revenue turns into cash. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Contracts, and Finance and is responsible for ensuring that complex enterprise and government deals are billed accurately, on time, and in accordance with contractual and revenue recognition requirements.
This role is pivotal in aligning our go-to-market function around predictable revenue, billing accuracy, and cash collection. The ideal candidate is analytical, operationally excellent, and experienced supporting enterprise and government software organizations with complex sales and billing motions.

Responsibilities
- Revenue Strategy & Forecasting: Collaborate with Finance and Operations on revenue forecasting, billing schedules, and deferred revenue.
- Contract-to-Cash Ownership: Own end-to-end billing for complex enterprise and government contracts, including milestone-based billing, revenue share, and contract modifications.
- Deal Desk Support: Serve as the primary finance interface for Account Managers, translating intricate Statement of Work (SOW) terms into accurate invoices and revenue schedules.
- FP&A & Management Reporting: Build sophisticated dashboards and models that provide visibility into accounts receivable aging, billed versus earned revenue, and cash flow forecasting.
- Operational Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc analyses to identify revenue leakage, deal profitability, and opportunities for operational cost-savings.
- Compliance: Responsible for revenue recognition governance and ensuring audit-ready records for GAAP compliance.
Qualifications
- Education/Certification: 4 Year College Degree + CPA required.
- Experience: 6+ years in Revenue Operations, Accounting, or Finance within an enterprise software or high-end consulting environment.
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of complex billing models, such as milestone billing and revenue share, specifically for large-scale enterprise deals.
- Analytical Prowess: Exceptional proficiency in financial modeling and "clean-sheet" analysis to support management decision-making.
- Contract Literacy: Ability to interpret non-standard contract terms and translate them into structured financial data.
- Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in CRM systems and enterprise financial or billing software.
Nice to Have
- Audit or financial diligence experience.
- Federal government billing experience (WAWF, IPP, or similar).
- Experience with partner, reseller, or revenue-share models.
- SaaS or enterprise software background.
