Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Salesforce CPQ Business Systems Analyst / Admin to join our team in Burnaby, BC. This onsite role focuses on partnering with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, and Operations to enhance and support Salesforce CPQ and Opportunity-to-Cash (O2C) processes. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in Salesforce CPQ, a deep understanding of high-tech subscription and usage-based business models, and experience driving cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, focusing on Salesforce CPQ and related revenue operations systems.
- Analyze and improve end-to-end Opportunity-to-Cash workflows, identifying pain points and delivering scalable solutions.
- Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements across Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Billing.
- Lead functional design workshops and translate business needs into user stories, process flows, and configuration guidance.
- Work closely with solution architects, developers (including offshore teams), and QA to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Support configuration and testing of CPQ components (e.g., product and pricing rules, quote templates, approval workflows, renewals, amendments).
- Coordinate cross-functional alignment for new product launches, pricing model changes, and process automation initiatives.
- Assist with UAT planning and execution, and contribute to user training and enablement.
- Continuously assess system performance and user feedback to drive iterative enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Admin, including 2+ years in Salesforce CPQ.
- Strong understanding of Opportunity-to-Cash processes in high-tech or SaaS companies.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
- Hands-on familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ configuration principles.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, especially in a distributed team setting.
- Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, Excel, and process mapping tools (Lucidchart/Visio).
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification or Revenue Cloud experience is a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Salesforce Billing or Revenue Cloud implementations.
- Experience with subscription, usage-based, and ramped pricing models.
- Familiarity with New Product Introductions (NPIs) and GTM system readiness.
- Understanding of CRM-to-ERP integrations and master data flows.
Work Schedule & Expectations
- Prefer candidates who can work from office in Greater BC, Canada
- Must be available during core business hours and overlap with US-based stakeholders.
- Willingness to work with development teams in India, with some overlap hours in early mornings or evenings as needed.
- Occasional flexibility required for production issues or time-sensitive deployments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
