Role Description
This is a remote, full-time Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role at Deribit US. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial planning and strategy, managing financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additional responsibilities include analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements, and leading the finance team to optimize financial performance. The CFO will collaborate closely with the executive team to make key business decisions and drive the company’s growth in the cryptocurrency market.
Qualifications
- Strong Financial Planning and financial oversight experience
- In-depth knowledge of Financial Statements and Financial Reporting practices
- Proven expertise in Finance and Analytical Skills
- Exceptional decision-making, leadership, and team management skills
- Understanding of compliance requirements related to the cryptocurrency and financial sectors is a plus
- Experience in cryptocurrency or fintech industry is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA or CFA certification preferred
