About You
We are hiring a Revenue Operations Manager who wants to work within a busy commercial finance environment and is looking for the opportunity to work for a growing and award-winning organisation.
You will develop and manage (with business units) a suite of KPIs that track business performance versus plans on revenue, margin, pipeline, operational effectiveness, and other key indicators (including any appropriate early warning or proxy measures for longer running KPIs).
You will work with business units to produce dashboard reporting containing accurate, timely KPI tracking and analysis for the leadership teams to use in their decision making, assessment of performance, and business planning activities.
In addition, you will align where appropriate, our Group’s CRM and Finance systems (Microsoft CE and NETSuite) to enable integrated reporting by category and have oversight of data quality needed for end to end sales pipeline management for our Group’s businesses.
This role is crucial to providing leadership with clear, insightful and reliable reporting and analysis that supports management of business performance across several business units that all operate within a regulated pension services environment. You’ll have a keen eye for detail and a background of data analysis, coupled with the ability to build strong relationships based on trust to deliver well in this role.
Responsibilities & Criteria
This role will report to a Chief Financial Officer, and you will have responsibility for the following:
- Producing market insights to help the Group’s businesses to understand the macro-economic environment and the shape structure and growth of the sectors of the pensions industry in which 3173 companies compete. Feed this into the annual planning process for the Group’s businesses to understand total addressable markets and market share. Manage external data input to provide a single set of client and prospect data for the business to be used by all businesses in the Group. Ensure cyclical cleansing and development of prospect data held within Microsoft CE to ensure it can be relied upon for use in campaigns.
- Ensuring systems in place (Microsoft CE, NETSuite) use consistent approaches to monitoring and measuring activity by customer, product and Segment.
- Providing timely reporting of sales pipeline metrics for each business to company sales & marketing leads, ExCos, 3173 ExCo and 3173 TopCo. Analyse pipeline adequacy, progression, and revenue conversion metrics.
- Liaising with marketing managers based within each of the group’s businesses to ensure the provision of data for use in lead generation and marketing campaigns.
- Liasing with BD leads in each of the businesses to ensure the CRM system supports the sales process in place for each business.
- Liasing with BD leads in each of the businesses to ensure that lead generation campaigns are well researched, designed and executed.
- Lining management of Database Administrator to ensure the delivery of marketing and lead generation data, and any necessary research to group’s businesses.
Skills Required
- Professionally qualified in a relevant discipline.
- 3+ years of data analysis / manipulation experience.
- Proven ability to deliver illustrative and insightful reporting to leadership teams (ExCo / C-Suite).
- Ability to apply strategic thinking to help deliver useful reports to support the future growth of the group’s businesses.
- Excellent communications skills, ability to explain complex data and develop rapport and credibility across the organisation.
- Experience of working to a fast pace.
- Track record of delivering data driven reporting solutions.
- Strong aptitude working within a financial services regulated environment.
- Detail-oriented and possessing strong organisational skills, with the ability to quickly gather and synthesize information across many aspects of the business.
- An all-around professional with exceptional communication, organisational and time management skills, and the flexibility to adapt quickly to change.
Circumstances
Location: Belfast, Glasgow or Manchester (Hybrid)
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with additional hours as and when required.
- All roles are subject to a six-month probationary period and all prospective employees are required to complete an Access NI check.
