The Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) is looking for a
Sales Operations Specialist to join our Denver/hybrid team.
The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day management, support, and reporting of MGMA’s sales technology stack. This role ensures our sales platforms and processes are optimized, content is current and navigable, and sales teams are empowered to leverage technology effectively. The Specialist serves as the primary contact for sales tech vendors, supports the sales team with technology challenges, and acts as a liaison to CRM, IT Systems and Data Reporting teams to connect sales processes with company reporting and drive operational excellence.
Essential Functions
- Oversee daily operations and health of sales technology platforms such as Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Chorus, RingCentral. Work would include admin settings, governance, reporting, user support, and troubleshooting.
- Serve as the main point-of-contact for our sales tech vendors; meet regularly to discuss our account health, stay up to date on feature-functionality, and implement changes as needed.
- Partner with internal technical teams to maintain sales technology integrations, data hygiene and functionality with our CRM in alignment with IT and data standards at MGMA.
- Work with the relevant cross-functional teams on behalf of sales, regarding JIRA ticket submissions, progression, testing, etc.
- Leverage CRM, PowerBI reports, and Analytics team to validate sales data, run reports, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights.
- Manage and improve the content and workflows within our sales platforms (e.g., Outreach sequences, Chorus playlists, ZoomInfo lists,) in partnership with sales and enablement.
- Govern the sales SharePoint sites, ensuring content is up-to-date, easily navigable, and team members are trained on best practices.
- Drive day-to-day follow-through on enablement and operations projects that benefit the sales organization and our revenue goals.
- Other duties as required and necessary to ensure the success of the organization.

Requirements
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Ability to consistently promote, support, work, and act in a manner in support of MGMA’s mission, vision, and values.
- Strong technical aptitude with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) and ticketing systems (Jira/Atlassian preferred)
- Experience with sales efficiency tools used for communication and research (Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, Chorus, and RingCentral preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills for data validation, cross-referencing, and reporting with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Familiarity with Product/Software Development Lifecycle
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with key external stakeholders and across all internal teams.
- A proactive approach to solving operational challenges and improving processes.
- Ability to work independently while proactively communicating priorities and alignment with manager.
- Comfortable balancing multiple priorities and working effectively across teams.
- A passion for leveraging technology to drive sales success.
Experience
- Two (2) or more years of experience in sales operations, CRM reporting, or technology management.
- Hands-on experience with sales tech platforms (Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Chorus).
- Familiarity with Power BI, advanced Excel functionality, and SharePoint site management.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.
Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.

This is a largely sedentary role, so employee must be able to remain in a sedentary position while focusing for extended periods of time throughout the workday. Position also requires occasional movement inside the office to access file cabinets, printers, etc. This role may require setting up, moving, and configuring IT equipment including computers, servers, networking devices, and peripherals.
While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to successfully navigate scenarios requiring the following operational abilities:
- Ability to operate PC/keyboard and other office productivity equipment
- Ability to position self to traverse/navigate around typical office setting
- Able to lift, carry, and move IT equipment and hardware up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Able to reach, bend, kneel, and work in various positions when installing or troubleshooting equipment
- Able to pull/push, lift, open/close, grasp/manipulate, and transport materials
- Ability to use hand and power tools for equipment installation and cable management
