As the company continues to grow and evolve, we are seeking an experienced, strategic, and operationally strong Chief Financial Officer to join our executive leadership team.
Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as a key strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, responsible for the financial leadership, integrity, and long-term financial health of the organization. This role requires a highly experienced financial executive capable of managing a multi-entity, vertically integrated business that spans manufacturing, distribution, retail, rent-to-own and consumer financing.
The ideal candidate brings deep accounting expertise, capital management, debt/equity financing, proven executive leadership, and the ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a complex operating environment.
This is not a developmental CFO role. We are seeking a seasoned executive with a demonstrated track record leading finance in a sophisticated, multi-division organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Serve as strategic financial advisor to the CEO and executive team
- Lead long-term financial planning, capital allocation, and enterprise value creation
- Drive financial strategy aligned with company growth and profitability goals
- Provide data-driven insights to support executive decision making
Accounting & Financial Integrity
- Ensure accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting
- Oversee audits, tax strategy, and regulatory compliance
- Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance
- Lead accounting operations across multiple entities and business lines
Operational Finance
- Oversee financial performance across manufacturing, transportation, retail, and financing divisions
- Drive margin improvement, cost discipline, and operational efficiency
- Partner with operations leaders to improve forecasting, inventory performance, and capital utilization
- Utilize ERP and BI tools to monitor and display data trends across the organization
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance organization
- Build a high-performance culture grounded in accountability and transparency
- Strengthen cross-functional alignment across departments and leadership

Capital & Risk Management
- Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and liquidity
- Oversee financial risk, insurance, and enterprise risk management

Required Qualifications
To ensure the right level of experience, only candidates meeting the following criteria will be considered:
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
- Prior CFO or senior finance executive role in a complex operating company
- Strong technical accounting foundation
- Experience overseeing multi-division or vertically integrated operations (manufacturing, distribution, retail, or financing)
- Proven leadership managing sizable finance and accounting teams
- Experience with audits, internal controls, and financial governance
- Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
- Strong executive presence and communication skills
Highly Preferred Experience
- Manufacturing or industrial business environment
- Consumer financing, leasing, or rent-to-own structures
- Multi-entity or multi-location company experience
- ERP / financial systems leadership and transformation
- M&A, integration, or strategic growth initiatives
- Private company or entrepreneurial operating environment
