Founding Go-to-Market (GTM) Lead
Location: New York City (5 days in-person)
Team Size: ~15 employees
Compensation: ~$200K+ base, up to ~$400K total comp, plus meaningful equity, flexible for senior talent
About the Company
Our partner is an early-stage fintech company building a product for institutional finance. The company is actively working with major investment banks, private equity firms, and hedge funds, and is backed by strong investors including OpenAI's Startup Fund. With a lean, technical-first team in place, the company is now building out its foundational go-to-market function.
The Role
Our partner is hiring multiple Founding GTM hires (rolling basis) to help build and scale the company's commercial motion from the ground up. This is a high-ownership role at the intersection of sales, client success, growth, and strategy.
You will:
- Lead demos and manage pilots with investment banks, PE funds, and hedge funds
- Serve as the primary point of contact for early customers
- Drive customer adoption and gather product feedback
- Support growth initiatives including branding and waitlist conversion
- Help shape the GTM strategy, messaging, and commercial playbook
This is not a narrow sales role — it's a broad, early-stage GTM builder seat with significant visibility and influence.

Must-Haves
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to understand and explain technical concepts
- High ownership mindset; thrives in fast-paced startup environments
- In-person availability in NYC
Preferred
- Background in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, or financial services
- OR senior SaaS sellers who have sold directly into financial institutions
- Experience managing sophisticated enterprise buyers
- Comfort operating across sales, strategy, and operations
